Today I watched my girls along with some of the other kids in the complex, decide to do something for someone else. They created paper fans, necklaces and bracelets made out of beads and a jug of lemonade. Then they approached anyone that came near our complex to sell their treasures. And the money? It goes to Childrens' Hospital to help sick kids. I know this was Pookie's idea, though the louder and bossier kids took the credit.
It is moments like these that I realize the depth of goodness in my girls and the hope that we as parents are doing something right.
