First day of Spring

Start the party people...Spring is Sprung!

To celebrate the first day of spring and the first day Hubby has had completely off in forever, we hung out.
Together.
Trust me, that is big news.

First off, we got our sandals on. (Please ignore the naked toenails, color to come soon!)


Then we headed to Tim Hortons, then to the local beach. We waded through puddles, searched for rocks and shells, pretended we were mermaids and climbed trees.






Then Hubby donated blood while the girls watched and ate the cookies meant for folks actually donating. (We didn't take pictures, cause that's weird!)

Hubby & daughters washed and waxed the blue van.

The girls played outside for hours and hours while I baked bread, did some gardening, made dinner and Hubby got some manly TV watching.



I love Spring!
